My husband and I are huge Disney fans; we actually got engaged in DisneyWorld back in March 2015! We were lucky to schedule a last minute engagement photo session with Mackenzie Stewart Weddings and we got some incredible pictures to commemorate the occasion.
If you and your fiancé/partner/bestfriend are Disney fans, I highly recommend setting up a photoshoot in your closest Disney park! But where in the park do you focus your photoshoot? Well, I’ve got you covered! Here are five of my favorite places from our engagement photo session in DisneyWorld!
In Front of the Castle
You can’t take photos in Disney and not get any in front of the castle! It would be a crime! Unfortunately you might find it difficult to take photos directly in front of the castle because of crowds. However, there are several lookout spots on the sides of the castle that should have a less-crowded view. Thanks to this strategy, we were able to get some great photos by posing in the grassy area to the front-side of the castle, outside the main Central Plaza.
DisneyWorld’s Main Street
Main Street is my favorite part of Disneyworld and I always cry when we first arrive at it. That’s why I knew we had to take some photos there! There are also many side streets off of Main Street that provide quiet moments without crowds. Plus, balloons!
The Carousel
You can’t get more romantic than a carousel! That’s why the DisneyWorld carousel is a perfect place to take a photos that give off major fairytale vibes. You can take photos on the carousel itself, and also in front of the carousel. Wait for it to start spinning for a cool effect!
The DisneyWorld Monorail
If you take your photos in the afternoon you might be able to get a monorail car all to yourself, and if you do… magic! The monorail is such a cute place to take engagement photos because they are a little cheeky and have a very different vibe than inside Magic Kingdom proper.
The DisneyWorld location most important to you
When it all comes down to it, these are YOUR photos. Do you and your person have special memories of The Haunted Mansion? Maybe the most romantic place for you is in a doom-buggy! Think about your favorite moments in the parks together and that’s probably somewhere you want to remember.
